Your generator and transfer switch may have more than one place where fuses have been installed by the manufacture.  If your generator was functioning perfectly and "suddenly" does not perform a simple function, such as power was restored but the generator won't shut down, check the fuses.  If you find a bad fuse, replace it, please follow all appropriate precautions and guidelines when performing any maintenance or service yourself.  Contact your local service dealer to have all the fuses checked and replaced.
