Excellent Choice!

I had this generator installed to power my 3900 sqft house when power is lost. The master electrician who did the installation advised that, although it will power my entire house, he cautioned against using both the electric range and electric cloths dryer at the same time. Today, we lost power for more than three hours, and the generator was up and running in 6 seconds, and powering our house in 30 seconds! Worked like a dream...as if we were still on our normal power supply!
Be sure that you buy the correct amperage panel for your house, i.e. 100 or 200 amp. I was luck that I chose the 200 amp, as my house was wired with a 200 amp panel and was compatable.
The set-up of the motor is easy to access and easy to maintain as well. However, if you purchase the optional oil heater and battery warmer, I'd recommend asking the dealer from where you purchase to install them prior to shipping. It wasn't difficult installing, but since the system was shipped with oil already in it, it was a bit messy for the oil heater install.
It's nice to have peace of mind and glad I made the investment! Couldn't have picked a better product in my opinion.

This generator was running for 9 days with no problems. It is quiet an powerful enough for a 2600 sf home. It's unique size also came in handy with zoning requirements.
