Product Description
Generac Guardian Air Cooled 14kW Standby Generator Pre-Packaged w/100 Amp 14 Circuit Automatic Transfer Switch Not only includes upgraded features with the Nexus controller but also includes several additional features.
Features:
• External common fault alarm: Allows for a connection to drive a common alarm if any shutdown for this 14kw Generac generator occurs
• Wiring Error: Gives indication if the transfer switch is connected incorrectly without allowing board damage
• Battery Sentinal: Monitors battery to indicate that the battery is going to fail or if it has failed in your 14kw Generac generator
• Generator High Voltage Shutdown is included on this 14kw generator
• Internal Fault Shutdown: Shuts down 14kw Generac generator in event of controller failure
• Nexus Controller: +/- 1% voltage regulation, smart charging battery system where output voltage is dependent upon ambient temperature and only charges the battery in the 14kw generator system when needed
• External Mainline Circuit Breaker: Allows power shutdown without having to open or unlock the enclosure of this 14kw generator
• Sturdy, galvanneal steel enclosure with RhinoCoat finish for superior weather protection keeps this 14kw generator safe from the elements
• Digital NEXUS Controller, Two-line LCD Tri-lingual
• Product Activation: Requires each 14kw Generac generator to be activated via website or phone before automatic function is enabled for warranty activation start point

can you depend on power when needed?

The answer to this question is yes when it comes to Generac. Where I live the electric goes off at least 3 times per year for at least 3 days each occurrence. I built a new home and demanded that a stand-by generator be a part of my home. After researching I settled on Norwall for my generator supplier. Best deals, shipped and received without damage and when they stated.

Saved us after "Sandy!"

We had a miserable time when our power went out after Hurricane Irene hit us in 2011. We bought this generator and are SO glad we did! When Sandy hit, the worst storm ever to hit NJ, our generator performed flawlessly. We were warm, had food, even had cable and Internet and could do laundry. We could help our neighbors too, who are now probably going to install their own. We highly recommend it!

Great Addition for our Winter Ski House

We enjoy a winter ski home. Unfortunately we often have power outages.
The generator has worked flawlessly since it's installation and had saved a couple of our vacations. The first time we had an outage my family didn't even no the rest of the homes around us had no power.

I tell everyone buying a standby generator is the best money I've spent. I work away from home two weeks at a time and to know if there is a power outage my family is taken care of. I give this product a 5 in all areas
