Generac Guardian Air Cooled 8kW Standby Generator Pre-Packaged w/100 Amp-10 Circuit Automatic Transfer Switch


Not only includes upgraded features with the Nexus controller but also includes several additional features.

Features:
• External common fault alarm: Allows for a connection to drive a common alarm if any shutdown for the generator occurs.
• Wiring Error: Gives indication if the transfer switch is connected incorreclty without allowing board damage.
• Battery Sentinal: Monitors battery to indicate that the battery is going to fail or if it has failed.
• Generator High Voltage Shutdown
• Internal Fault Shutdown: Shuts down generator in event of controller failure
• Nexus Controller: +/- 1% voltage regulation, smart charging battery system where output voltage is dependent upon ambient temperature and only charges the system when needed.
• External Mainline Circuit Breaker: Allows power shutdown without having to open or unlock the enclosure.
• Sturdy, galvanneal steel enclosure with RhinoCoat finish for superior weather protection.
• Digital NEXUS Controller, Two-line LCD Tri-lingual
• Product Activation: Requires each generator to be activated via website or phone before automatic function is enabled for warranty activation start point.

Includes: 100 Amp 10 Circuit Nema 1(Indoor Rated) Automatic Transfer Switch, Pre-Wired Conduits, Composite Mounting Pad, Flexible Fuel Line Connector, Pre-Wired External Connection Box.

    Generator was received on time in great shape.
    Follow directions and any one with a little
    mechanical knowledge can install it.
    Plan on paying gas co. a couple hundred dollars to install propane regulator and gas line.

    Purchase the Generac 8k with 100 amp ATS
    For my Country home. It arrived quickly and in good condition. Now I can sleep at nights without worrying about loosing heat and my pipes freezing

  3. Hurricane Sandy Tested

    Installed the 8Kw generator Feb 2012. Installation was straight forward and Norwall Power systems was very easy to purchase from.
    When hurricane Sandy hit in NJ, our power was out for 10 days. The Generac generator performed flawlessly and didn't miss a beat for over 200 hours. This is probably the best investment I've made in a very long time.

    I am a single senior and just purchased the Generac Model 5870. Don't have to worry any more about the power going off. I have gone through 3 back up sump pump systems. Now I have peace of mind. Thank you for great service.

    I ordered The Generac Guardian 8kW Standby Generator Pre-packed w/100 Amp-10 Circuit ATS Model #5870 from Norwall PowerSystems on Thursday and it was delivered bright and early Monday morning. This was last year. Since then we have gone through 2 hurricanes, 3 backouts and many storms with it. It is like a part of our family- keeping us safe, comfortable and with electricity!!     Since buying the Generac Guardian 8 kW generator we are very happy with our purchase. I spent a great amount of time looking at the options and finally decided on the 5870- first because of price but also because I know the company I was buying it from had a great reputation and stood behind their product.

    I debated having a technician come in to do the installation but ended up doing it myself one weekend. I work as a mechanic and electricity is my professional background so I was up to the challenge. The total install, including the gas line took me about 10 hours which isn?t too bad for never having hooked up a generator before. To this day we have not been without electrical power in our home. I cannot even begin to imagine the chaos that would go on with 4 kids and 2 dogs. Sincerely, The Locus family and 2 dogs.

    We bought our generator last year. Unfortunately it came after a big storm that killed our power for 2 days. We decided to wait until after the storm to hook it up but since then we have had nothing but good experiences with it.

    This was a very easy transaction. The generator arrived in only 4 days (via lift gate truck), much sooner than anticipated. The generator was securely strapped on a pallet and the driver placed it where required. Everything was as advertised and I?m very pleased with Norwall's product and expertise.
