1. Great generator

   I ordered The Generac Guardian 8kW Standby Generator Pre-packed w/100 Amp-10 Circuit ATS Model #5870 from Norwall PowerSystems on Thursday and it was delivered bright and early Monday morning. This was last year. Since then we have gone through 2 hurricanes, 3 backouts and many storms with it. It is like a part of our family- keeping us safe, comfortable and with electricity!! Thank you for your great service and quality products Norwall.

   Since buying the Generac Guardian 8 kW generator we are very happy with our purchase. I spent a great amount of time looking at the options and finally decided on the 5870- first because of price but also because I know the company I was buying it from had a great reputation and stood behind their product.
   
   I debated having a technician come in to do the installation but ended up doing it myself one weekend. I work as a mechanic and electricity is my professional background so I was up to the challenge. The total install, including the gas line took me about 10 hours which isn?t too bad for never having hooked up a generator before. To this day we have not been without electrical power in our home. I cannot even begin to imagine the chaos that would go on with 4 kids and 2 dogs. Sincerely, The Locus family and 2 dogs.

4. Anyone who lives in a cold area needs a generator

   We bought our generator last year. Unfortunately it came after a big storm that killed our power for 2 days. We decided to wait until after the storm to hook it up but since then we have had nothing but good experiences with it.

5. Everything was easy

   This was a very easy transaction. The generator arrived in only 4 days (via lift gate truck), much sooner than anticipated. The generator was securely strapped on a pallet and the driver placed it where required. Everything was as advertised and I?m very pleased with Norwall's product and expertise.

   Norwall Power Systems is really a benchmark retail site - great availability, lots of options, and incredibly easy to initiate and complete and purchase. I don't think any other site makes it as easy to find information and make a purchase. I would definitely recommend Norwall to my friends. They were recommended to us by our cousin who also has the 8kW Guardian by Generac.

   SHOPPED FOR A WHILE AFTER BACK TO BACK POWER OUTAGE'S LATELY. POWER CO DOE'S NOT SEEM TO BE IN ANY HURRY. HAVING THE SECURITY OF A GENERAC GENERATOR IS GREAT. ESPECIALLY KNOWING THE HEAT WILL STAY ON IN THE COLD PA WINTER MONTH'S...

9. Great investment

   I live in a very rural area. When the power fails, the utility takes most of their full-time crews to more populated areas and makes us wait for the contract crews to travel to work on our power. I can pretty much count on outages of, at least, 24 hours at a time several times a year. The Generac generator has worked almost flawlessly and simplified my life. Just follow their preventive maintenance instructions. It's ok to do your own oil and filter changes, but don't be too cheap to hire a local service company to look it over once in a while.

10. Best choice after searching for a generator

    After searching many generators and deciding myself that this will possibly be what will be the most suitable for me and our home I decided to purchase it. To make sure that I had made a good decision I talked with our electrician and he verified that this was a great choice and would be perfect for our home. When our home was being built he was the electrical contractor and with his knowledge I felt very secure that we had made the correct choice. During our floods in 2010 we were fortunate that we did not lose our electricity as we have sump pumps which would have created a worse disaster if they were not able to function. We are looking forward to the security we feel this will provide us.
