Generac's portable propane generator is the first to bring the benefits of liquid propane together with an easy-to-transport design. This revolutionary generator is surprisingly compact and easily maneuverable, and is ideal for a variety of uses.
Until now, the only options available in a portable propane generator required the propane tank to be separately carried, where it would then sit to the side of the generator while in use. The LP3250 incorporates a tank holder into the frame itself, so the propane tank sits securely out of the way. It eliminates the hassle of a stand-alone tank and the awkward fuel line that goes along with it.
Tank Holder:
Integrated fuel tank holder secures a 20 lb. LP tank to unit for easier and safer transportation (Tank is NOT included.)
A 20lb. tank provides 9 hours run time, comparable to the run time of same size portable gasoline generator.
Conveniently located fuel line:
Quickly connects to a standard size 20 lb. tank.
Dolly-style handles and low grab bar:
Increased maneuverability...handle fold down for compact storage. 9.5" Wheel Kit included.
Hardened-steel tube cradle:
Cradle is a rugged 1.25" diameter.
Low-oil pressure protection:
Safeguards the engine from damage.
Covered outlets:
Outlets are protected from the elements.
Circuit breakers:
Provide overload protections, and easy access controls.
Emissions Certification:

I waited 3 weeks longer than expected. Once shipped it arrived Quickly and intact. Assembly was easy and unit started on the first try. Now I can face future storms with a little peace of mind. Norwall customer service via phone was first rate and helpful. Thank you.

Had some experience with the last storm. Used it for 4 days. Not everyone can start this machine. (pull start needs some strength) Makes a lot of noise. Easy to use with the propane. Overall I am positive as long long as you have the ability to start the machine. It is heavy but not hard to move with the wheels.

I haven't put it to a full test yet, but a quick run showed easy stating and fairly quiet operation. It is heavy! This is not something one person can throw in and out of a pickup bed, even without the fuel tank on board. The fairings are all heavy gauge steel as are the frame and tank support, about the only plastic on unit is the strap around the tank. Once it is on the ground, it moves easily. Well balanced, especially with a full tank of gas. Design lets you use your weight to tip and wheel it around instead of lifting, as on most other portable generators. Assembly was quick and easy, only needed a few sockets, box end wrench and an allen wrench. Shipping took slightly less than the 6-8 weeks estimated, Norwall offered fast friendly service the few times I called about the item.
