Good Bang for your Buck

We have had this generator for 3 years and have racked up 2700+ hours on it. Before that we had the same generator but with a different name but same generator and engine. That unit has 2400+ hours on it. We use this at our cabin which is a 1/2 mile off the road. The only complain I have is that its pretty loud. If I was using it for the occasional back up I dont think it would be an issue but for our use it gets old. If it were quieter I would buy another one.

Bought this generator after hurricane Sandy. Did a lot of research,and spoke to all my friends with generators to get an idea of what I needed. Wanted something reliable,powerful,and not too loud.Just tried it today.Started right up.Ran great. Plugged a drill in to see how it would handle it-Didn't even race higher than idle.Been in construction for 30 years,and would rate this 5 stars.Electrician coming next week to install transfer switch,then I'll be ready.Very Happy !!!!Norwall is a great Company to deal with. Received in perfect condition. Long Island.New York.

Generac 7500E and Norwall a good combination

I ordered this product a few days before huricane Sandy when it was still in stock. When Sandy struck all generators flew off the shelf and I was afraid that my unit would be reallocated. Not so, Norwall delivered my generator via UPS freight as scheduled. The driver even put it on a handtruck and rolled it up my driveway for me. He also gave me time to throughly inspect for shipment damage.
The generator seems well built. I replaced the wheels (Harbor Freight sells 10" pnuematic wheels item #30900 for about $7 that fit perfectly)since I'll have to roll the unit over uneven terrain.
I never had a power outage from Sandy but I have tested the generator. Although I did not put a fresh charge on the battery, the unit started immediately. I tested the outlets with a voltmeter and they all appear within specs.
I plan to have an electrician install a transfer switch (Generac 6378) and power inlet box (Generac #6346)which I believe are a good match for this unit.

I was a bit skeptical purchasing such an expensive unit from such a great distance, however, after dealing with this company I had absolutely NO WORRIES. Great staff and great customer service. As far as the unit goes, you can't beat it. Easy start with no problem energizing the items I needed powered. Great Unit as I definitely required electric start after the six back operations I have had. Once the handle is installed the unit moves around easily.

Ordered and delivered within 5 business days! The unit is quiet and efficient - runs everything in the house: 2 zones oil heat, hotwater, all lights, microwave , electric cooktop etc etc . Best $1000 backup power plan on the market. 5 stars to Norwall and Generac!

The General 7500e is the best generator you can get for the money. Don't be fooled by other advertisements saying high wattage read fine print. Norwall had super fast delivery ordered prior to superstorm sandy arrived within four business days. Best price you will find anywhere and delivered right to my generator plug on the back of my house. Thanks for the great support.

Used this generator for about 190 hours durinig Hurricane Sandy. I had a minor problem with the gas cap being to tight and the engine stalling but it ran great when we determined thr problem.
