Automatic, hands-off operation
In the event of a utility power outage, the transfer switch - working in tandem with the generator - automatically starts the generator to restore power to the home, whether you're home or away.

This beautiful generator, rated first by Consumer Reports, was delivered by UPS Freight in a completely undamaged, obviously very strong, case. It arrived in Reno as scheduled on Friday, Nov 29,and ,with our permission, delivered to us on Monday Dec 3. We are now in the process of obtaining county permits and, with our electricion, installing it. So far we are completely satisfied with the process of installing emergency power for our complete home

Generator works great

It took a couple weeks of part time work to install the gas line and transfer switch. Supplied directions were very good and complete. I have a technical back ground which made it possible to self install with out support. We had one short power failure during which it started and transferred as advertised. Seems to be a lot quieter than neighbors Generac (1800 vs 3600 RPM)
Battery, wire, breakers and gas line parts were about $700 in additional expense.
My warranty start is ship date because I am not a registered electrician and didn't pay a dealer to do the startup so didn't send in the start up notification. Hopefully this won't be a problem.
