Westinghouse 7500 Watt Electric Start Portable Generator
Model WH7500E electric start generator includes the Westinghouse, 420 cc, OHV engine, designed for power, durability and quiet operation with oversized muffler and catalyst. Unit also includes one-touch electric start in addition to EZ start, color-coded starting controls and customer service at 855-WH-HELP-1 (855-944-3571). Easy to operate with simplified power control center and a 3-year limited warranty. Includes never-flat tires, battery for electric start, high-leverage handles, tool kit, first liter of oil and funnel to get you up and running fast.

Generator is top shelf, Very heavy duty built and this model unlike others recharges the electric start battery as it's running, Takes no more the 15 mins to put handles and wheels on.

Just what we needed

I ordered the 7500 series to handle an electric water heater along with home office and anything else we would need to run besides a/c. I chose this unit for its name recognition and price. Norwall then beat that by another $75. This unit delivered on schedule and was easy to set up in 30min. out of box. I recommend the 7500 if you have elec HW or stove. It's got all the power you need.

Great generator, bad shipping.

Ordered this generator after having a bad experience with a Blackmax. If you order one of these on the day of delivery make sure that you have someone with you to lift the generator out of the box and take your time to go over every square inch of it because once you sign the delivery sheet concealed damage or not its yours. Mine was delivered and I did inspect it very carefully, but did miss that the back cover to the generator itself had been pushed in and had also broken the AVR. Thank goodness for Dennis at Westinghouse. After calling them and explaining my predicament he sent me the parts that were damaged,I installed them and it purrs like a kitten. Hooked it up to my transfer switch, and ran all 10 circuits with out a hitch. Volts measure out at 118 both sides. Other generators I've had measure out as high as 127 volts. Im always hearing of generators causing problems with refrigerators and computers, that might be why. Motor is smooth with no surging. Think I'm going to love it.

Good buy for emergency power needs

This generator appears to be well built (in China). All I had to do was install the wheels and handles so it can be moved. While all in all, it was not difficult, trying to follow the instructions was impossible. The machine started on the second pull and ran at a reasonable noise level.

I ordered this generator 1 week before hurricane Sandy hit New Jersey, but it couldnt be delivered because of the hurricane and they were only delivering FEMA Material, so after the third day without power, I finally get a call that if I want, I could pick up my generator instead of waiting 2 weeks for delivery, so of course, I picked it up. My son and I put the wheels on and the handles in about 20 minutes, put in gas and oil and on the first try it started right up and I finally had some power in my house! I hooked this generator up to my refridgerator, my well pump, a space heater and a couple of lamps and it brought joy to my family like you would not believe! Finally, a hot shower after 4 days without water felt like Heaven! We were really starting to get depressed until this machine arrived, and all I got to say is thank you Westinghouse for a reliable product, and easy enough for my wife and children to use!
